Companies adjust to changes in consumer demand and the overall market. Sometimes they do this with shrinking budgets and leaner teams. Leaders often must find ways to maximize their investments.
The decision to deliver and maintain an education program (especially one at scale) is often a choice that requires a large investment in both human and financial resources. So, when looking to trim costs, initiatives that don't directly contribute to increased revenue can often be first on the chopping block.
In Intellum’s recent study, respondents selected their most valued platform capability from the following options:
- Direct Learning
- Bottom-Up Personalization
- Top-Down Personalization
Although assessments are named the No. 1 most important platform capability, the data shows companies that value assessments are least likely to see increased revenue (27%).
Interestingly, organizations that prioritized “scalability” were most likely to see increased revenue (42%).
